• Volunteer in support of your child’s education
• Build and support school programs and family events
• Connect with other parents
• Make your voice heard
• Stay informed!

Why not try out one of these roles:

PTA Executive Board
The PTA is guided by an elected executive board that helps oversee and carry out our PTA’s goals.  The executive board meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
Nominations are currently being accepted for all positions:
• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Member- at- Large
(All positions can be co-chaired)

School Leadership Team
The SLT is an advisory panel of elected parents, teachers and staff that works with the school’s administration to guide school policy and address concerns of the school community.  In addition, the team helps create and review PS 39’s Comprehensive Education Plan and collects feedback through an annual parent survey in the spring.

The team meets once a month on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.  Parent members are asked to serve a two year term.
