Get ready for the new school school year in Kindergarten- Grade 5 with our PS 39 School Supply List. Families are encouraged to take advantage of our amazing Parent Association School Supply Program. Our supply program allows families the opportunity to buy supplies online for one low, flat rate. Our Parent Association provides this service for families while also raising money for supplies that the PTA buys for the school all year, such as copy paper, tissues, hand sanitizer and pencils. We are very excited to start another great school year at PS 39! The first day of school is Thursday, September 4th. This is a full day of school (8:20am-2:40 pm) for all students in Grades 1-5. Kindergarten will have a half day on Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5 with dismissal at 11:50 am. Our pre-K students will visit their classrooms following a phase in schedule. Monday, September 8 will be a full day for all students at PS 39.
A series of emails will be sent to our families during the week of August 25 with information about teacher placement, arrival & dismissal locations, school lunch and other procedural information. Please check your email for this important information. Contact our Parent Coordinator, Karen Herskowitz, if you are not receiving PS 39 emails. The fall term registration is open for our CBE Kids at PS 39 After School Program. The Fall Term will run from Monday, September 8 - Friday, January 30
Please note: CBE Kids will now be running a two semester per year program (September-January & February-June) Fall Term Registration Information: Click the link for information about the program including fees, how to register online and the course listings for the Spring Term. Paper copies of the registration packet will be available in our Parent Coordinator's office at the start of the school year.
