Get ready for some "dancing in the streets"! Monday, June 20th will by our annual Dance Festival on 6th avenue starting at 9 am. This year, ALL students will be performing with their grade level. Plus, we'll have a special surprise student performance as our finale! Don't miss the fun end of the year event.
Don't miss our annual Spring Carnival at PS 39 on Saturday, June 11 from 12-5 pm in the school yard and on 8th street. Join the fun with great food, games, crafts, bounce houses, live music, prizes and much more! We need all the help we can get to make this carnival a blast for our kids! First things first: we need lots of food cuz those kids (and adults) get hungry when they're having fun! Can you please make a food item or donate one? Sign up HERE . AND we need an army of fun volunteers to make the event the best it can be! Please find just ONE HOUR to give HERE. Psst...fifth graders and older siblings are encouraged to sign up to help run the games! PS 39 will be piloting a teacher assistant program in the 2016-17 school year. The purpose of this position is to work under the instruction/guidance of Administration/Cooperating Teacher to support the delivery of quality teaching and learning to help students meet grade level standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in education or a related field and have experience working with elementary age children.
