This Friday, April 22 is Earth Day! Join the fun and do your best to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. PS 39 welcomed Leonie Haimson, founder of Class Size Matters, to our March PTA meeting to discuss overcrowding in NYC public schools. For families that were not able to attend, we encourage you to view the Power Point Presentation from this meeting and learn more about the impact growing enrollment has on our school and district and how the city is responding to these trends. View the presentation HERE. If you are interested in advocacy efforts about class size at PS 39, please contact our PTA presidents, Erica Ashe (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Erin Kiernon (email@example.com).
