Do you live within the PS 39 school zone?  Please CLICK HERE to visit the NYC Department School Finder.

• Every child in NYC is guaranteed a spot at a public school based on their address. 
• If you and your family are in temporary housing, a school CAN NOT ask you for supporting documents to prove residency.
• If you wish to attend a school that your child is not your zoned school, you MUST go through the Family Welcome Center and present a convincing argument as to why your child should be allowed to attend a school other than their zoned school.

Please note that Kindergarten admissions eligibility is based on YEAR OF BIRTH; you child can register for Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year if they were born in 2019.
