PS 39 Author Visit Program
PS 39's author visit program brings a diverse collection of authors and illustrators to our school to help our students learn first-hand about the art of writing. Our program is funded by the money raised by our students through our annual spring Read-a-thon hosted in May during National Screen-Free Week. Each grade level has a visit with an author and receives a signed copy of the book the author shares.
