Synchronous Instruction FAQs
Do hybrid students need to attend all synchronous meetings?
We highly encourage your child to attend as many of their synchronous sessions as possible. Their teachers are delivering content aligned with what they are learning on in-person school days during these sessions. During a student's remote day they will be marked present as long as they attend one synchronous session.
If we are staying home because we do not feel well can we attend the hybrid synchronous sessions for the other cohort?
If your child feels well enough, they are more than welcome to attend the synchronous sessions on a day they stay home. They should attend the session for the opposite hybrid cohort. They will see the same teacher they see on their remote days. They cannot attend the Group C, all remote sessions as this would be with a different teacher.
Can my child attend the all remote synchronous sessions instead of the hybrid remote sessions?
No, to maintain the community of each cohort each student needs to attend the session to which they are assigned.
