DOES IT BELONG AT SCHOOL?

Cell Phones
Although students are not encouraged to bring cell phones to school due to the possibility of theft, loss or damage, we understand that many families want their children to have cell phones to contact parents before or after school hours.  If a student chooses to bring a cell phone to school, it must be OFF during the school day and stored in their backpack.  If a phone is seen during the school day, it will be confiscated and turned into the administration.  A parent will be contacted to come to the school to pick up the phone.

Toys and Personal Belongings
Students are not permitted to bring personal items to school unless part of a classroom share.  Electronic items, including cell phones, seen during the school day will be confiscated and returned only to a parent.

Dress Code
Students must wear closed toe shoes to school every day (no flip flops).  It is recommended that students wear sneakers every day to be prepared for any changes to our program.  Families should dress their child appropriately for the weather.  Students will go outside for recess every day, except during extreme weather.

Money
All money sent to school for field trips or school events should be in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s name, classroom and purpose of the money.  Students should not bring large sums of money to school.
