All students have a right to attend public school, regardless of immigration status. To inform families of this right and reassure them that their children are safe in our classrooms, the Department of Education and the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs have prepared a letter and an FAQ (click links to view). Translated copies are available HERE. Copies of this letter and FAQ were sent via email and on paper to any family that does not receive email from PS 39.
