The purpose of the PS 39 Parent Association (PA) is to support our school by creating an environment that supports learning, diversity, community and family.
As a parent or guardian of a PS 39 student, you are a Member of The Parent Association. Our PA is what we make of it and our goal is 100% participation to give back to the school which gives so much to our children. Think about your interests and talents and how you can help make our busy year of events, activities and initiatives an exciting and rewarding experience for all PS 39 families.
Our activities fall under three main categories:
Monthly General Members meetings provide families the chance to come together and socialize, hear Board, School and District updates and discuss issues and concerns at hand. General Members are encouraged to submit agenda items for these meetings using our Agenda Items Form or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org with any topics you have.
For the evening meetings, child care is provided in the school cafeteria.
