The NYC Department of Education allows parents access to their child's attendance records, report card grades and NYS test scores online through the NYC Accounts. Please contact our Parent Coordinator, Karen Herskowitz for more information. Note: If you have created an account before May 2016, you must confirm your email address by September 30, if you have not already done so, in order to maintain uninterrupted access to your child's records.

If you were not able to attend this event, 2016 - 17 Curriculum Overviews for each grade level have been posted on the Curriculum Page. If you have specific questions about your child's class/ grade, please contact your classroom teacher.

Unleash your inner scientist at City of Science Discovery day in Brooklyn. City of Science is a FREE indoor exhibition that features interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities that bring science to life for the entire family. Thursday, September 29 (7- 8 pm) @ Camp Friendship. Our first PTA meeting will be held next Thursday. Hear an update from our principal, Anita de Paz and find out about all the amazing things happening with your Parent Association this year! Free childcare will be provided in the PS 39 cafeteria.
Please join us at the third annual PS 39 Rocktoberfest-this Friday, September 23rd (7 pm - 11 pm) at the Old Stone House. Music, drinks, food, and the company of your PS 39 Community. Please bring your preferred beverage. Appetizers, sodas, and some beer and wine provided. Suggested donation $10-$20 (Teachers are free!).

For information about morning line-up locations and afternoon pick-up spots, please visit the Arrival/Dismissal maps on our Back to School Feature Page. To help families, teachers will be in the school yard starting at 8:10am on the first two days of school holding a sign with their classroom number and name. This location will be the class line-up spot for the remainder of the school year. Starting on Tuesday, September 13, line-up will continue to begin at 8:10am but teachers will pick up their classes at 8:20 am. Students must be in line by 8:20 am.
