PS 39 PARENT ASSOCIATION
The purpose of the PS 39 Parent Association is to support our school by creating an environment that supports learning, diversity, community and family.
- The Association is guided by an elected Executive Board which meets once a month. Executive Board members are listed below.
- General meetings are held to keep parents informed about association and school activities, issues at hand and to provide workshops on topics of interest. These meetings will be held on various Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00 pm in the PS 39 Music Room or during Family Fridays at Camp Friendship starting at 8:20 am. For the evening meetings child care is provided in the school cafeteria. The 2016-2017 meeting schedule can be found below.
MAKE A DONATION OR VOLUNTEER
The Parent Association is comprised of all parents and teachers. If your child attends PS 39, you are automatically a member. The goal of the PS 39 Parent Association is 100% participation: we hope that every family finds some way to give back to the school which gives so much to our children. We urge you to think about your own talents and interests, and to find an event or committee that will be a rewarding experience for you.
